Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 March 2025
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using EuroComply ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EuroComply.
2. Description of Service
EuroComply provides AI-powered compliance tools including EU AI Act risk classification, sovereignty auditing, regulatory intelligence, and compliance chat. The Service is informational only and does not constitute legal advice. All AI-generated outputs include the disclaimer: "For informational purposes only. Consult qualified legal counsel."
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and EU VAT. Prices are displayed excluding VAT; applicable VAT is calculated at checkout based on your location. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
5. Free Tier
The free tier includes 1 AI system, 1 sovereignty audit per quarter, and 10 chat questions per month. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits with 30 days notice. Free accounts inactive for 12 months may be deleted after notification.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. Your data is retained and accessible on the free tier. See our Refund Policy for refund details.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not: (a) use the Service for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems; (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service; (d) resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation; (e) use the Service to generate misleading compliance certifications.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service. EuroComply retains ownership of the platform, algorithms, and generated outputs (excluding your input data). Compliance reports and documents generated for you are licensed to you for your internal business use.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. EuroComply is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. AI-generated classifications and recommendations are informational and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for compliance decisions. In no event shall EuroComply be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Data Protection
We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including the GDPR. All user data is stored on EU servers.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your account before the effective date.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the member state in which EuroComply is established.
