When a high-risk AI system makes or substantially contributes to a decision that significantly affects you, you have the right to a clear and meaningful explanation of that decision, including the role of the AI system and the main parameters.

Article 50
Right to know

Companies must tell you when you are interacting with an AI system. This applies to chatbots, emotion recognition, biometric categorisation, and AI-generated content (deepfakes). You should never be unknowingly subjected to AI.
