Refund Policy

EuroComply is an automated AI assessment tool operated by Code Tide Unipessoal LDA. It does not provide legal advice. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer and limitation of liability including explicit exclusion of regulatory fines and penalties.

B2B Service

EuroComply is a business-to-business (B2B) service. This Refund Policy applies to legal entities and professionals subscribing in the course of their trade or business. Consumer cooling-off rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) do not apply to B2B contracts.

Merchant of Record

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, the Merchant of Record for EuroComply. Paddle is the legal seller and is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, VAT, and refund disbursement. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement. Code Tide Unipessoal LDA coordinates refund decisions but Paddle executes them.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. Upon cancellation, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. Your account then reverts to the free tier. Your data remains intact and accessible on the free tier.

Refund Eligibility

We offer a full refund if requested within 14 days of your first payment for a new subscription (monthly or annual), provided you have not made material use of the Service during that period.

After the 14-day window, refunds are not available for the current billing period as a matter of right. We handle individual requests on a case-by-case basis and may issue full or prorated refunds in exceptional circumstances, including: verified technical failures on our side preventing access, billing errors, or duplicate charges. Refund decisions are at our sole discretion.

Refunds are not available for: (a) partial use of the service within a billing period; (b) failure to cancel before auto-renewal where prior reminder notifications were sent; (c) dissatisfaction with AI-generated outputs (which are informational only, as stated in the Terms of Service).

Annual Plans

Annual plans cancelled within 14 days of the initial purchase are eligible for a full refund. After 14 days, annual plans are not refundable but remain active until the end of the annual billing period. No further charge is made upon expiry if not renewed.

Immediate Access and Waiver

By completing checkout, you expressly request immediate access to the Service (a digital service) and acknowledge that the Service begins to be provided immediately upon payment. If you are a consumer (which is not contemplated by these Terms — see Section 1 of the Terms of Service), by requesting immediate access you confirm your acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal under Art. 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) does not apply once the digital service has been fully performed, or, where not yet fully performed, that you forfeit the right of withdrawal as service provision has commenced at your express request.

How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with:

  • The email address registered to your account
  • The date and amount of the payment
  • The reason for the refund request

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and may take a further 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by Portuguese law and forms part of the agreement between you and Code Tide Unipessoal LDA as set out in our Terms of Service.
