EuroComply's EU AI Act Compliance Checker is a free 13-question, stateless browser tool that classifies an AI system as prohibited, high-risk, limited-risk, or minimal-risk under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and separately checks Article 4 AI literacy evidence. ## Classification rules

- Any Article 5 prohibited-practice answer returns prohibited or unacceptable risk
- Any Article 6, Annex I or Annex III answer returns high-risk unless Article 5 already applies
- Any Article 50 chatbot or synthetic-content answer returns limited-risk unless a higher tier applies
- The Article 4 AI literacy answer does not change risk tier; it adds an evidence action to the result
- All risk-tier answers no returns minimal-risk, with Article 4 AI literacy still relevant for providers and deployers
